Visas and
Insurance
It is your responsibility as the guest to ensure, before you
travel that you have your passports and any visas that might
be necessary. Visas are
the responsibility
of the guest travelling. Before you travel please make sure you have
secured the necessary documentation and paid for it.
Please ensure that you have all the necessary visas prior to departure (unless
available on entry) as neither Tailormade Safaris, their staff, their agents
nor their operators can be held liable for any errors. Visa requirements can
change from country to country so please double-check this information with your
nearest embassy/consulate before departure.
Insurance:
It is compulsory that all guests travelling with Tailormade Safaris must have
a fully comprehensive insurance cover including full medical emergency air evacuation,
repatriation, loss or theft of luggage, money, goods and cancellation of safari.
Please ensure that you have yourself and your belongings adequately insured before
your departure, the cost of this insurance is relatively cheap compared to the
price of your safari and your equipment. Tailormade Safaris and its agents and
associates cannot be held responsible or liable for loss, damage, or theft of
personal luggage and belongings, nor can they be held liable for personal injury,
accident or illness.
Before you confirm your booking please make sure your insurance covers you in
the event of you having to cancel or curtail your safari due to unforeseen circumstances
as we regret that neither Tailormade Safaris nor the respective tour operators
that we work with can make any refunds within a certain period.
It is advisable to take out baggage and money insurance, especially if
you are carrying large amounts of cash or expensive and valuable camera
equipment. (We
recommend that you should always carry such equipment as "carry-on" luggage
on scheduled flights).
If you anticipate having to make an insurance claim upon your return home, be
sure to document as accurately as possible any accident, injury or loss. Photographs,
doctor’s notes and police reports will aid any claim.
