Journeying through the world famous Okavango Delta and the unique
Selinda Reserve ecosystem this safari traverses two wildlife rich
areas while accommodation is in the lap of luxury. The level of

Journey in Detail
Little Vumbura Camp - 2 nights
Upon your arrival at Maun Airport your pilot will meet you for
your charter flight to the Okavango Delta. Situated on an island
is a beautiful 6 roomed tented camp with en suite facilities and
a plunge pool at the main deck. Being on an island allows for various
water activities including mokoro (traditional dugout canoe), and
motorised boats. On land, game viewing is in open 4x4 vehicles
(both day and night) and for those that would like to get even
closer to mother nature, walks are offered on request. At Little
Vumbura game viewing is consistent all year round and the seasonal
migrations make the birdlife phenomenal as one explores the area’s
many channels, waterways and islands.
Duba Plains, Okavango Delta - 2 nights
After experiencing the Vumbura area of the Delta you will depart
by light aircraft for your next camp, which is situated on an island
in the heart of the Delta. Although not guaranteed the Duba area
is famous for its lion and buffalo interactions which brought world
acclaimed National Geographic filmmakers to reside in this area
resulting in Relentless Enemies, a dramatic documentary of the
this unique relationship between predator and prey. The camp comprises
six spacious tents with a raised main area and a plunge pool. Activities
in the Duba area include walks and game drives with a focus on
the lion prides in the area.
Selinda Camp, Linyanti Area, Northern Botswana - 2 nights
After exploring the waterways and islands of the Okavango, you
will be transferred by light aircraft to your next destination.
Located along the famous Selinda Spillway, which historically used
to link the Okavango Delta and the Linyanti Water systems, Selinda
camp is a luxurious 16 bedded camp.
Game walks, day and night drives, observing wildlife from hides
and platforms and an exciting “Mokoba” sleep out are
amongst the activities on offer. This area is rich in wildlife
and being on a large concession guests have the opportunity to
traverse various habitats including open savannah grassland dotted
with palm trees, leadwood and mopane forests, which are home to
thousands of elephants and marshy areas along the rivers and lagoons.
Big herds of buffalo, impala and other antelope characterise the
daily scene at the Selinda while cheetah, lion, leopard and wild
dog are on the list of predators in the area.
After your stay at Selinda your safari will end on a high note
and you will be transferred by light aircraft to Maun for onward
arrangements.
